Family Holidays

Fabulous Family Holidays is a sponsored guest post by Catherine M.

Ah, family holidays. It’s the highlight of the year, when you get to whisk the little ones off to far-flung shores and watch them paddle in the shallows, build one sandcastle after another and slurp milkshakes under the shade of a gently nodding palm. It’s like paradise – that is, until you hear the dreaded “B” word. Where kids are concerned, “I’m bored” is never far away – and it’s every parent’s nightmare.

Thankfully when it comes to holidays, today’s tour operators are a switched-on bunch who certainly know how family holidays should be done.

Take Thomas Cook family holidays for instance. Thomas Cook have been organising holidays for decades, and in recent years they’ve placed a huge emphasis on family getaways. They have specific holiday brands dedicated to families that offer all sorts of essentials, such as family-friendly hotels with fantastic facilities geared up for younger guests, a wide choice of food for fussy eaters, great entertainment options for all ages, and plenty of kids’ clubs and crèche facilities with qualified staff and packed entertainment schedules.

Kids’ clubs are a great addition to your family hotel. It lets your little ones go wild and let off plenty of steam under the watchful eye of a competent team, who will keep your little charges busy with all manners of different activities, games, arts and crafts. And while they’re busy having fun, the adults can sneak off to enjoy some quiet downtime or head out for a day of sightseeing.

Wherever you fancy – from holidays to Egypt to fun-filled trips to Florida – you’ll find plenty of family-friendly holidays at every turn. It’s a great way to take the stress out of your hands and ensure that all the boxes have been ticked, to make sure you and your family have a wonderful holiday to remember.
